🚪How to Enter Demo Mode

  1. Open the app. On the sign-in screen, tap "Try Demo — No Account Needed."
  2. You're instantly dropped into a populated demo workspace — no email, password, or payment required.
  3. A green "Demo Mode" banner stays visible at the top so you always know you're in the sandbox.
Verdix's demo mode is the best way to evaluate the app before subscribing. It loads a fully populated workspace with sample plants, gardens, harvests, soil tests, and care schedules so you can see exactly how Verdix works in real use.

Tap the banner anytime to exit demo mode. When you exit, all sample data is wiped and you return to the sign-in screen ready to create a real account.

📦What's in the Demo Workspace

The demo is pre-loaded with realistic data so you can test every feature immediately:
  • 8 sample plants across multiple categories (houseplants, vegetables, herbs, fruits)
  • 10 active care schedules (watering, fertilizing, pruning) on different cadences
  • 16 care log entries showing past care history with photos
  • 2 sample gardens — one raised bed and one container garden — with companion planting placement
  • 4 harvest log entries showing yield tracking and seed-to-table cost
  • 2 soil test results showing pH, NPK, organic matter, and amendment recommendations

💳Subscribing After Demo

  1. Tap the green Demo Mode banner → "Exit Demo".
  2. You return to the sign-in screen. Tap "Sign Up" to create a real account.
  3. After onboarding, the paywall shows your tier options. Tap "Start [Tier Name]" — e.g., "Start Grower", "Start Cultivator" — to subscribe.
  4. Or close the paywall and re-enter Demo Mode anytime — Verdix does not have a free tier, so you must subscribe to use a real account.
When you're ready to use Verdix for real, exit demo mode and create an account. From there:

Demo mode is a sandbox — anything you create in demo mode (new plants, harvests, etc.) is wiped when you exit. Don't use it for real records.
